«The future, gentlemen, is the faith of our age, the torch of the past, the star of the present.» Jean-Jacques Ampère
Member of the Irouleguy Wine Cellar for almost 40 years, the vine is in our family history. My ancestors who believed in the project of this cooperative have been bringing their grapes to the wine cellar since its creation in 1952. To this day I endeavour to pass the family torch to my son in law, by giving him almost all of my red grape variety vines (tannat, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon).
Today vineyard terraces are characteristic of the Irouleguy vineyard landscape. I was one of the first, in 1980 to plant vines of this type.
Wine grower and suckling cow breeder, I also run gites in the heart of the Irouleguy vineyard.
President of the wine cellar for 7 years, I closely follow the activities and future projects of the cooperative. In the near future we are renewing our production tools thanks to an important investment. All the stakes are in the project’s success so that the young generations have the keys in hand to take over, in a perpetual dynamic of improvement.

The wines from the Cellar are the fruit of the work and the values from which the wine growers and the members of the cooperative personally identify themselves.
