Vins Irouleguy.
TASTING

Appearance : deep red garnet colour, very dark colour almost black.

Nose : the nose offers black fruits, spices and light tobacco notes. The finish associates small red berries with a toasted nuance.

Palate : very powerful wine with full-bodied tanins, with a lot of maturity and density, very long aromatic finish.

VINIFICATION

Blend : 60% Tannat, 25% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Vinification : long maceration of 3 weeks, slow extraction.

Maturing : 15 months in barrels, with 30% new wood.

Consume within : 8 - 10 years. Alcohol : 13°
